Coverage of Warranty

Costa Kitchens, LLC warrants to the original consumer purchaser that Costa RTA Cabinetry will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of Five (5) years from original purchase date (Proof of Purchase is required). This warranty is nontransferable and only applicable to product used for residential purposes. Representatives of Costa Kitchens, LLC do not have the authority to change or extend this warranty. This warranty is valid only in the United States of America and Canada.

Limitations

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage or defects caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or lack of necessary maintenance; nor does it cover alteration, modification, improper installation, improper handling or storage, environmental conditions, nor any labor expenses.

At our option, Costa Kitchens, LLC may elect to repair or replace with a functionally equivalent Costa RTA Cabinet product covered by this warranty. Some replacement parts are subject to availability and may differ from original parts received. Return of defective product may be required for a replacement to be issued. Repair parts or replacement parts are at the expense of Costa Kitchens, LLC, but customer shall bear all other expenses. These expenses may include, but are not limited to, cost of removal and re-installation of product, labor expenses, etc.

All implied warranties are limited in duration to the shorter of the period provided by law or the period of this warranty. To the extent permitted by law, this warranty excludes special, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

To exercise this warranty, please contact the Costa RTA Cabinets supplier from whom you purchased the product.

Claims

Report, in writing, to info@costakitchens.com all defects claimed and include proof of purchase documentation.

Disclaimers

If some of these characteristics concern you, please choose something else. We bring these characteristics to your attention so you the consumer understand that Costa Kitchens, LLC will not be held responsible for any of these variations in your cabinetry.

• COLOR VARIATIONS: Cabinets may vary in color, texture, and grain. Color variations may also occur due to species, age, character of cabinets, and exposure to UV light and sunlight. This may result in overall color variations cabinet to cabinet and is not considered a defect.
• WOOD DOORS: Wood by nature will undergo expansion and contraction movements for years after it compensates and adjusts to ever changing atmospheric humidity and temperature conditions. It is very common for center panels on doors to shrink, expand or move during these transitions. Typically, the panel will return to its normal position once it has adjusted to all seasonal changes. It is for these same reasons that it is very common for doors to warp during these periods and is not considered defects. Note: It is advisable to check if the door was properly installed since doors that appear warped are very often the result of improper installation.
• GLAZED FINISHES: A glazed finish by character is an uneven finish. Some edges and profiles will have heavier hang up than others and glazing may vary item to item. This may result in overall color variations and is not considered a defect.
